Some people have problems getting the correct amount of rest when they travel. Sleeping in an environment one is not used to can throw off a person’s sleep cycle. It is important to pay attention to one’s behavior in order to get the proper rest while traveling. Here are some tips from TheWorkAdvisor.com to ensure you get the proper rest when you stay with us!
Avoid caffeine after lunch. Obviously caffeine can boost your energy, so try decaf coffee or tea.
Take a warm bath if available before bed. It relaxes your muscles and body to prep you for sleep.
Turn off the TV and your computer before you are getting ready to go to bed. The glow from a screen keeps the brain active.
Avoid drinking alcohol late at night. Contrary to popular belief, alcohol does not help a person sleep soundly.
For more tips and ideas, check out the article, and get a good night’s rest at a Lion Country Lodging hotel.
